The LBPD doesn't think speed, cell phone use or alcohol/drugs were factors in this crash
Longtime LB Airport resident Jet-Blue announced they will cut down flight routes from Long Beach and stop all service through Oakland International Airport.
Between The Lines:
At the same time JetBlue cuts services on the west coast, the New York-based airline will expand footing in Boston and New York.
Last year, JetBlue abdicated some flight slots at the Long Beach Airport.
JetBlue exit from Long Beach was also a reaction to the City's changed the rules for 'usage of flight slots and signaled it may crack down on JetBlue for failure to comply' per the Gazette.
In 2017, the Long Beach City Council voted down a proposal that would have allowed the airport to conduct international flights.
What Happened Today:
Former ballplayer and now former manager Carlos Beltran and the Mets mutually agree to part ways due to the ongoing Astro-Sign Stealing scandal that engulfed Major League Baseball for the past couple of weeks.
Beltran is the fifth person to be fired this due to his connection to the sign-stealing scandal, joining former Red Sox manager Alex Cora, who was let go on Tuesday and former Astros manager AJ Hitch and General Manager Jeff Luhnow, who was fired on Monday.
The Boston Red Sox is also being investigated for the potential use of sign-stealing with the use of electronic equipment while Cora was the manager in 2018.
