Audio from CNN, reveals what was said after the Democratic debate between presidential hopefuls Sen. Bernie Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

Warren: "I think you called me a liar on national TV?"
Sanders: "What?"
Warren: "I think you called me a liar on national TV."
Sanders: "No — let's not do it right now. You want to have that discussion, we'll have that discussion—
Warren: "Anytime."
Sanders: "You called me a liar, you told me — alright, let's not do it right now."

What Happened:

Sanders was asked by CNN moderator Abby Phillip about Warren's claim that a woman couldn't win the presidency.


What Happened:

According to the LBP, two students were struck by a vehicle near 15th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.

  • The incident happened at approximately 6:55 a.m.

  • Both students are in serious condition, the victims were described as male, one a 17-year-old and the other an 18-year-old sent to nearby hospitals.

  • The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

  • At this moment, law enforcement doesn't believe drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash.



LBPD is investigating a shooting at an alledged illegal gambling establishment on the 1000 block of E. Artesia Boulevard in North Long Beach.

  • The incident happened Monday night around 9:30 pm according to the LBPD.

  • 1 victim was sent to a nearby hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body and KTLA reported the 2nd victim suffered from gunshot wounds to his upper and lower torso but drove himself to the hospital.

  • LBPD is searching for the gunman but didn't provide any descriptions
