L.B.P.D is has provided video footage regarding the sexual assault that took place Sunday July 7th, in hopes for the public's assistance to identify the suspect.




Details:

A woman was sexually assaulted by a knife wielding male inside of her North Alamitos Beach apartment complex's laundry room sometime around 11:00am Sunday, on the 1000 block of East 7th Street in Long Beach.


The Suspect:

According to L.B.P.D, the suspect has been described as a male Hispanic, between the ages of 20 to 25 years-old, about 5 to 5'3 feet tall, wearing dark clothes.

Details:

  • Over a hundred local immigrant rights activists held a rally and march in Downtown Long Beach, to protest against Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) and urge the federal law enforcement agency leave Long Beach.

  • The marchers chanted for the termination of the Trump Administration practice of separating families and the Long Beach Values Act, which has exceptions known as "Cut-Outs" that allows the L.B.P. D to contact ICE if an undocumented immigrant has a past criminal record.

Protesters marched pass L.B.P.D Headquarters and to the Glenn M. Anderson Federal Building, were ICE has an office.

Fridays' quake was felt 175 miles away in Downtown Long Beach and in Las Vegas, were the shaking was strong enough to suspended an NBA Summer League game.

According to CSB 2, there is an estimated a 3% chance of another earthquake of magnitude 7 or greater striking Southern California within the next week following the 7.1 magnitude earthquake on Friday night says the USGS.
