1 Woman Shot & Killed, 1 Teen Wounded in Hail of Gunfire at a Mobile Food Vendor
One woman was killed, and another person wounded after a verbal altercation at a mobile food vendor escalated to a shooting Friday night, police say.
According to the LBPD, on Dec. 4, officers were dispatched to the area of Magnolia Avenue and Anaheim Street at 11:20 p.m. At their arrival, officers provided life-saving measures to the adult female victim, but she would later die at the hospital from her wounds.
The teenage victim sustained gunshot wounds to her upper body and was later released from the hospital.

According to the investigation's initial findings, several people were in a parking lot buying food at a mobile food vendor. Before the suspect open fire, there was a verbal altercation with the group waiting in line. As the argument intensified, police say the suspect produced a handgun and opened fire indiscriminately towards the group.
An unidentified person in the parking lot returned fire at the suspect.
The murder victim has been identified as 36-year-old Long Beach resident Alejandra Martinez.
Witnesses described the suspect as a Black male adult in his late twenties.
The suspect was last seen driving a sedan northbound on Magnolia Avenue.
