18-year-old Woman Killed by Suspected Drunk Driver on 105 Fwy

An 18-year-old woman was killed, and five others were injured when a suspected drunk driver going the wrong way on the westbound 105 Freeway crashed head-on into a car, per multiple reports.

According to KNBC 4, the lone fatality was Briauna Ramirez, a resident of Palm Springs; she was seated in the front passenger seat of a 2012 Honda; she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspected drunk driver, identified as a male 24-year-old West Covina resident, was driving a 1999 Honda, entered the westbound 105 Freeway going east, then collided with a 2012 Honda.
The crash occurred at 3:05 a.m Saturday near Long Beach Boulevard.
Paramedics transported the two other passengers in the car with Ramirez and the suspect to nearby hospitals.
There were no reported injuries on the third vehicle involved.
