2 Men Killed in Shooting near the Traffic Circle

Authorities said two people have died after a shooting erupted in the Traffic Circle neighborhood of Long Beach Saturday evening.

LBPD officers responded to a call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon in the 3700 block of East Esther Street around 5 p.m. When officers arrived, they found one of the victims on the front lawn of a home on Esther Street, the Post writes. While police conducted life-saving measures right away, both men were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Police did not give their names to the media, but they were identified as two Black men by officials, per KTLA.
A suspect remained at the scene and was cooperating with officers in the investigation.
Officials did not specify if the suspect would be arrested and charged with particular crimes.
