2 Men Shot in Long Beach’s Drake Park

Two men were injured in a Thursday night shooting at Wilmore's Drake Park, police announced.

What they're saying:

Police were dispatched to Drake Park just before 7:00 p.m., after receiving a call regarding gunfire. When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in what police described as a gang-related incident.

• Police say officers found bullet castings and further evidence that a shooting did occur.

• One victim was treated for his wounds at the scene and released.
