2 women were killed in a two-car crash in Long Beach early Monday morning

Police say two women were killed, and two others were injured in a fatal two-car crash early Monday morning in Long Beach.

According to a news release, the crash occurred at about 1:40 a.m. on Willard Street and Pacific Avenue in the Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach. Authorities said a Black 2017 Honda Civic and a Blue 2015 Toyota Camry collided at the intersection, and both the driver and passenger of the Camry died.
Both the driver and the 30-year-old male passenger of the Honda are in stable condition and are currently located at a nearby hospital.
The Camry driver, a 21-year-old female adult resident of Long Beach, was transported to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The passenger in the Camry, a female adult roughly 25 to 30 years old, died at the scene.

Police believe speed was a factor in the collision, and it's unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
