A man tells police he was shot while he stood outside in North LB
At 6:15 p.m, police were dispatched to the 6200 block of Long Beach Blvd after a man called 911 claiming to have been shot while he was merely standing still in the Coolidge Triangle neighborhood in North Long Beach.
The wounded man reportedly told the arriving officers that he fled on foot after getting shot, and police would later find indications that gunfire occurred in Long Beach Blvd and East Barclay Street area.
Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital.
Police described the victim's gunshot wounds as non-life-threatening.
