A Massive fire burns multiple school busses near 405 Freeway in LB

According to authorities, multiple unoccupied school buses were scorched by a small brush fire along the 405 Freeway near the Long Beach- Signal Hill border on Thursday.

Long Beach Fire Department spokesperson Brian Fisk says, the blaze occurred around 2:30 p.m., in the brush along the 405 Freeway off-ramp at Orange Avenue. The fire expanded through a chainlink fence to a school bus yard next to the off-ramp to the freeway.

🧯: At least three school buses were destroyed in the accident

🧯: There were no injuries recorded.

🧯: Along that section of the highway, there is a homeless encampment, but Fisk could not confirm whether that was the cause of the fire
