AOC will only get 60 seconds to speak at Democratic Convention
One of few stars of the Democratic Party and propionate Latina legislator, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), will only have one minute to speak in a pre-recorded message at the Democratic National Convention next week, per the Business Insider.
Biden will be accepting the democratic nomination from Delaware and other speakers will be giving their speeches virtually.
Progressive powerhouses Bernie Sanders and Senator Elizabeth Warren will be giving speeches.
Why it matters:
Two prominent Republicans will address the convention, former Republican Ohio Governor John Kasich was offered a speaking slot at the convention and former New York Mayor Micheal Bloomberg will also be speaking.
