Apple Closes Stores Across Califonria Due to Covid-19 Surge
Technology giant Apple Inc. announced the temporary closure of all of its 53 California-based stores due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, per Reuters.
Why it matters:
Apple's shares dropped after their announcement, and the iPhone maker didn't say when their stores will reopen.
🍎: As thousands of businesses had to close or cease operating due to the pandemic, Apple saw growth as they sold billions of dollars worth of products as more people had to work, live, and go to school all at home.
Apple also shut down its stores across London as the British capital entered into the restrictive tier 4 of their coronavirus lockdown.
