Boat Crashed into the LB Breakwater, 2 Passengers & 2 Dogs rescued, 3rd Dog Presumed Dead

According to the Long Beach Fire Department, a 65-foot boat smashed into the breakwater late Wednesday, leaving two passengers injured and killing one dog.

The boat crashed into the rocks at the Long Beach breakwater at a 'high rate of speed,' the Department announced on their Twitter page.
Lifeguards were deployed after receiving an emergency call of the collision at 11:30 p.m.
LBFD spokesperson Brian Fisk told the LA Times that when lifeguards arrived at the crash site, they rescued two passengers, one man, one woman, and two dogs in the water.
Fisk said another dog was missing and is likely dead, and one passenger was treated for injuries.
