California Paid-out $26 Billion in Unemployment Benefits

California's Employment Development Department announced this week they dished out $26.2 billion in unemployment benefits since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
329,289 claims have been processed last week between regular Unemployment Insurance and the separate Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program.
Every one of California’s 11 industry sectors lost jobs in April, EDD says.
