Dead Body Found Floating off of Shoreline Marina

The body of a dead woman was discovered floating near the 300 block of East Shoreline Drive Wednesday morning, police say.

Few details:

At roughly 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the scene after receiving a call regarding a dead body.

• Upon arrival, officers found "an unresponsive female adult in the water."

• Long Beach Fire Department personnel lifted the body from the water and concluded the woman was deceased.

• Police say there are no signs of foul play.

• The LA County Coroner's Office will be responding to take custody of the body.
