DUI checkpoint leads to 19 citations & 7 DUI arrest, LBPD says

Seven drivers were arrested for suspected DUI - including 19 citations for various traffic violations, during a checkpoint last Friday night, LBPD announced in a press release.

The checkpoint was held from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Pacific Coast Highway and Daisy Avenue. It is estimated that 824 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, with 243 drivers screened
