The FBI's Los Angeles office announced Wednesday morning that the stolen Humvee from the California National Guard Armory in Bell had been recovered.

Details:

Last week, the $120,000 Humvee was taken Friday morning, at around 8:15 a.m. from the armory, in Bell, according to the FBI.

  • The FBI offered a $10,000 reward for the whereabouts of the Humvee.

  • The FBI didn't give a precise location where the armored car was found but only announced it was discovered in Southeast Los Angeles County.

  • FBI's Major Theft Task Force was assigned to find the Humvee and the investigation proceeds to identify the suspect or suspects who stole the vehicle.

Why it matters:

As part of President Biden's inauguration security, the FBI vetted all 25,000 National Guard troops due to fears of an insider attack, according to a report by the Associated Press.
