Former Downey police officer charged with witness tampering
Former Downey police detective, Eduardo Castro, faces one count of witness tampering, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.
Law & Disorder:
Castro’s law enforcement career, which started in 2008 with the Downey Police Department, ended on June 29, 2022, per the Downey Patriot.
The facts surrounding Castro’s departure from the force remain unclear. Its unknown when Castro was let go as an officer.
Castro’s arraignment will happen on August 11 in Department 30 of the Foltz Criminal Justice Center.
The case remains under investigation by the Downey Police Department.
