Homeless Man Arrested in fatal shooting of a 44-year-old woman, LBPD says

A homeless man has been arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting a 44-year old Long Beach resident, police say.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, the incident occurred last Thursday, July 15, at around 11:50 p.m., on the 1700 block of Pine Avenue, when Dallas Williams and the suspect were in some 'dispute,' that escalated into a shooting.
Police arrested 45-year-old Nathaniel Ford during a traffic stop in Long Beach.
The police searched a LA home associated with Ford; investigators say they collected a firearm and "other evidence."
Ford was booked on one count of murder and held in the Long Beach City Jail on a $2,000,000 bail.
