Homelss man stabbed to death on The Promenade in DTLB

LBPD detectives are investigating the murder of a 41-year-old homeless man who was stabbed to death on The Promenade Tuesday night.

What happened:

Police provided few details, but according to their initial findings, detectives believe a "physical altercation" possibly transpired between the victim and suspect(s), commencing in the victim being stabbed numerous times in his upper-body with what police are calling a "sharp object."

• Investigators do not have a description of the suspect or suspects, nor their last direction of travel.

• The incident occurred Monday, Oct 6th, near the intersection of Ocean Boulevard and The Promenade North. Police arrived at roughly 8:50 p.m.
