City officials reported 27 additional coronavirus cases to bring the total number to 198 cases in Long Beach.
198 in total cases.
50 individuals recovered
3 deaths ( all deaths were women in their 60's with underlying health problems)
A fifth assisted living facility has reported at least once a case of coronavirus among its residents.

In Los Angeles County:
The L.A County Department of Public Health confirmed 28 new deaths and 711 new cases.
21of the people who died had underlying health conditions and 17 people were over the age of 65.
2 patients were over the age of 65 who died did not have underlying health conditions.
9 people who died were between the ages of 18 and 65; six people who died in this age group had underlying health conditions.
5277 total cases across all areas of LA County
119 deaths
1168 people hospitalized (22% of positive cases).
29,000 individuals tested and 14% of people testing positive.
