LA County Coroner's Office identifies victim from fatal Metro train crash in DTLB
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office identified the victim in last month’s fatal train accident as 63-year-old Carol Seguine.
Seguine, a homeless person, sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene after a LA Metro A Line train at Downtown Long Beach’s Transit Gallery struck her.
Previously reported: The metro train hit the victim just after 4 p.m. on the 100 block of First Street, where she was later declared dead at the scene, per the Post.
The Long Beach Police Department and Long Beach fire personnel responded to the tragedy. Police halted street access in and around the scene for hours, causing delays.
