LA County officals say beaches have elevated levels of bacteria
Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is warning residents of high levels of bacteria at two beaches.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water:
The Public Health Department has issued multiple warnings to LA County residents since July after the Hyperion Reclamation Plant dumped 17 million gallons of sewage into the ocean near Dockweiler Beach.
The County warnings are for:
Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica
Mother’s Beach in Marina Del Rey
Previous warnings for Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu have been lifted.
