Updated: Jul 13

With demand for COVID-19 vaccinations waning, Long Beach city officials plan to phase out the drive-thru vaccination service at the Convention Center on July 17.

What's Happening:

The City's decision to drop the drive-through operation at the Convention Center comes as Long Beach's vaccination rate stands at 66.1% for residents 12-years-old and above, for people who either have one or two shots of the vaccine.
