4 LBFD firefighters were injured during an apartment fire in Belmont Shore

Four LBFD firefighters suffered injuries as they quickly extinguished a blaze at an apartment building, that included fireworks early Friday morning in Belmont Shore.
Details:
The fire started roughly before 8:30 a.m. at the Belmont Shore Condominium located on the 3900 block of Allin Street.
Striking footage captured by LBCode3Media shows fireworks exploding.
LBFD spokesperson Jack Heflin told the LB Post the blaze was extinguished at 8:48 a.m.
Heflin further said four firefighters were hospitalized with burns and hearing issues due to the blast of fireworks.
