LBPD apprehends two people connected to a Saturday morning stabbing

The LBPD arrested two individuals connected to a stabbing on the 2700 block of 57th street in North Long Beach early Saturday morning, per a report by the LB Post.
Details:
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 1:30 a.m., where they discovered two men suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds to their upper-torsos. LBFD transported both men to a nearby hospital for medical care.
LBPD arrested 33-year-old Hawthorne resident, Armando Lopez, who is currently being held at the Long Beach City Jail on a $60,000 bail and is facing two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Cindy Cardenas of Downey, age 29, was arrested on one count of accessory after the fact and is currently being held at the Long Beach City Jail on a $30,000 bail.
The motive for the stabbing is unknown at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
