LBPD Arrest a Group of Teenagers in relation w/ a Robbery on River Trail
The L.B.P.D announced the arrest of four teenagers in connection to a strong-arm robbery, on the San Gabriel River Trail near the College Park neighborhood of Long Beach.
According to the police, the alleged robbery occurred on the San Gabrielle River Trail, when a male bicyclist was jumped by a group of teenagers "punched and kicked the victim, knocking him to the ground" and tossing the victim's bike down the riverbed.
The victim suffered bruising and lacerations to his upper torso that were inflicted during the assault.
Each of the juvenile suspects where charged with one count of robbery and one count of assault with a deadly weapon likely to inflict great bodily injury.
On May 11, 2020, the juvenile subjects attended court and three of the four subjects were released on house arrest.
