LBPD arrest man accused of stabbing his roommate to death
The Long Beach Police Department announced the apprehension of a man accused of stabbing his 60-year-old roommate to death.
Officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Williams Street in West Long Beach after receiving a call regarding "a stabbing between roommates."
The arriving officers found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds and rendered medical attention until Long Beach Fire arrived, but the victim would later die at the scene.
Police say a fight broke out between the victim and his roommate inside their home that intensified into a stabbing.
51-year-old Long Beach resident Eric Doore was taken into custody and charged with one count of murder. Doore is currently at the Long Beach City Jail, held on a $2,000,000 bail.
