LBPD Arrest Suspect in Cambodia Town Stabbing

Long Beach police announced the apprehension of a suspect who allegedly stabbed a man in the Cambodia Town neighborhood of Long Beach Sunday morning, Dec. 27.
What Happened:
LBPD officers were dispatched to the area of Olive Avenue and Atlas Way just before 1:00 a.m., where they found a man suffering from a non-life-threatening knife wound to his upper body.
Detectives think an argument commenced between the two men that escalated to the point that the suspect stabbed the victim.
The suspect and the victim did know each other.
David Palmer, age 62, is facing attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon charge. Palmer is currently being held at the Long Beach City jail on a $1 million bail.
