LBPD in search of a suspect who a shot man on 7th & Olive Ave

The LBPD is searching for a gunman who shot a man at the intersection of 7th Street and Olive Ave Thursday night, per the LB Post.

Details:

The incident occurred sometime around 11 p.m Thursday; the victim told police he was walking on Olive Ave when an anonymous man exited a car and shot him and struck the victim in the upper body.

• Police have told the LBP that the victim ran away from the gunman, and they were able to find evidence that a shooting occurred.

• The identity of the gunman and the motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.

• The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.
