LBPD Investigates Stabbing Death of 32-year-old Man at PCH Liquor Store

LBPD is investigating the death of a 32-year-old man who was allegedly stabbed by a liquor store employee, who claims the altercation was in self-defense.

On November 6th, police responded to PCH Beer & Wine Market, a liquor store located on the 300 block of West Pacific Coast Highway at roughly 10:35 a.m. An employee called 911, claiming a man attacked him, and he defended himself by stabbing the suspect.
Police described the dead man as a 32-year-old San Bernardino resident, who police located on the sidewalk at PCH and Ceder Avenue with a knife wound to his upper body.
The employee who stabbed the suspect is described as a 51-year-old Norwalk resident.
"Both liquor store employees remained at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation," police said.
