LBPD: Two People Charged for Selling Counterfeit Designer Products



Long Beach Police Department announced they have arrested two suspects Wednesday for allegedly selling counterfeit designer goods, police say.


Details:

During the course of the investigation, detectives of the Financial Crimes section seized up to $63,000 in bogus designer products like Louis Vuitton handbags, Gucci and Hermes belts, plus clothing from Chanel and Supreme, to name a few.

  • Police obtained a search warrant for a North Long Beach home near the 5000 block of Pacific Avenue.

  • 33-year-old Crystal Acosta Mendoza and 38-year-old Juan Francisco Mendozaramos were both charged with making or selling counterfeit goods, per LBP.

  • Mendoza was also charged for allegedly possessing an illegal firearm, which officers also seized.

  • Both Mendoza’s and Mendozaramos’ bail was set at $0 and they were released on Wednesday.
