LBPD: Two People Charged for Selling Counterfeit Designer Products

Long Beach Police Department announced they have arrested two suspects Wednesday for allegedly selling counterfeit designer goods, police say.

During the course of the investigation, detectives of the Financial Crimes section seized up to $63,000 in bogus designer products like Louis Vuitton handbags, Gucci and Hermes belts, plus clothing from Chanel and Supreme, to name a few.
Police obtained a search warrant for a North Long Beach home near the 5000 block of Pacific Avenue.
33-year-old Crystal Acosta Mendoza and 38-year-old Juan Francisco Mendozaramos were both charged with making or selling counterfeit goods, per LBP.
Mendoza was also charged for allegedly possessing an illegal firearm, which officers also seized.
Both Mendoza’s and Mendozaramos’ bail was set at $0 and they were released on Wednesday.
