LBPD: Woman robbed at gunpoint in Alamitos Beach

Long Beach police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Alamito Beach late Thursday night, per multiple outlets.

Police responded to a call regarding an armed robbery near a public restroom at about 10:40 p.m., at the 1900 block of 45th Avenue.

• The victim told police one of the suspects held her up at gunpoint. She was not injured during the encounter, per the Post.

• Streaming 562 reported that the victim’s purse and the phone were taken.
