Former Long Beach Council-member and current California State Senator Lena Gonzales has endorsed Suely Saro in Long Beach 6th distrcit race against incumbent Dee Andrews.

According to a report by FORTHE Media, in 2018, when Lena Gonzales was a Long Beach City Council-member, she filed a "hostile workplace compliant" against fellow council-member Dee Andrews, alleging that Council-member Andrews made "threatening remarks" during a phone conversation.
