Long Beach man stabs roommate to death during an argument, police say

The Long Beach Police Department arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his roommate to death Thursday morning.
Details:
Officers arrived at roughly 8:30 a.m at the 2600 block of 56th Street in the Davenport Park neighborhood of Long Beach regarding a dispute between roommates that escalated to a stabbing.
LBPD says the victim told the arriving officers that his roommate attacked him and would later die at the scene from knife wounds to his upper body.
The suspect didn't flee from the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
At this time, the investigation to determine if the suspect was a victim of a crime. The suspect and the victim's identity were not released, and the incident's motive is currently under investigation.
