Long Beach police investigate drive-by shooting

The LBPD is investigating a drive-by shooting that happened early Tuesday morning near 7th Street and Daisey Avenue.

Details:

According to the LBPD, officers arrived at the scene at roughly 2:00 a.m., where they came across three men who told police that a group of people within an SUV fired upon them.

• Two of the victims were inside their cars, and the third victim was standing outside when shots rang out, luckily missing all three victims.

• The suspects left the scene before police arrived, and investigators believe the shooting is gang-related.
