Man Killed Crossing the Street Near Traffic Circle

According to a news release from police, a pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle as he crossed an un-marked crosswalk at Pacific Coast Highway and Park Avenue near the Traffic Circle.

Details:

On November 21, police arrived at the scene at around 5:30 p.m Saturday to find a man lying in the street.

• LBFD arrived at the scene and provided medical attention, but the victim would succumb to his injuries.

• The vehicle involved was a 2019 Kia driven by a 66-year-old, who remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

• LBPD did not reveal the identity of the dead pedestrian.
