Off-Duty L.B.P.D Officer Killed in Crash on Ocean Blvd
The motorcyclist who died in today's accident on Ocean Blvd, has been identified as 33-year-old L.B.P.D Officer Anton Fisher, the Long Beach Police Association confirmed via their Facebook page.
Officer Anton Fisher joined the L.B.P.D in 2017.
One motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a vehicle in the area of 7th Place and Ocean Blvd.
L.B.P.D says, officers were dispatched around 2:25 p.m to the area of the crash and found a motorcyclist at the scene with "substantial injuries".
The motorcyclist, described by police as an adult male, was transported to a nearby hospital and later succumbed to his injuries
The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene of the crash and cooperated with investigators.
The identity of the motorcyclist is being withheld at this time.
