Off-Duty L.B.P.D Officer Killed in Crash on Ocean Blvd

The motorcyclist who died in today's accident on Ocean Blvd, has been identified as 33-year-old L.B.P.D Officer Anton Fisher, the Long Beach Police Association confirmed via their Facebook page.

  • Officer Anton Fisher joined the L.B.P.D in 2017.

One motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a vehicle in the area of 7th Place and Ocean Blvd.

  • L.B.P.D says, officers were dispatched around 2:25 p.m to the area of the crash and found a motorcyclist at the scene with "substantial injuries".

  • The motorcyclist, described by police as an adult male, was transported to a nearby hospital and later succumbed to his injuries

  • The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene of the crash and cooperated with investigators.

  • The identity of the motorcyclist is being withheld at this time.
