Multiple People Shot Tuesday Night Across LB
Long Beach Police Department responded to four separate shootings Tuesday night that transpired within a five-hour span, per multiple outlets reporting.
In one night:
5:55 PM: LBPD responded to Long Beach Blvd and Bort Street in North Long Beach. Eyewitnesses told police that two cars were exchanging gunfire with one another while driving. A few cars did sustain damage, and the suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
6:40 PM: Nearly an hour after the shooting in North Long Beach, police responded to the area of Chestnut and 19th Street in South Wrigley after a suspect in a dark-colored sedan shot two people while they stood on the sidewalk, police said.
🚑: The 16-year-old victim was transported via paramedics to a nearby hospital, and the adult male drove himself.
🕵️♀️: Streaming 562 reported that the prime suspect was described as a Hispanic male with a tattoo on his face.
9:00 PM: One man sustained a gunshot wound in the upper body while walking on 15th Street in the MacArthur Park neighborhood of Long Beach Tuesday night.
10:35 PM: LBP reported that police responded to an emergency call in Cal Heights concerning a domestic dispute. An accidental discharge of a firearm occurred, but no one was injured, and the victim notified police that a relative wielded a gun.
