Public Comments to Return on June 16th says L.B City Clerk
Long Beach City Council will begin allowing public comments over the phone starting June 16th.
Up to 20 people would be able to comment on regulations under consideration by the council via telephone
If there are under 10 participants, they can each speak up to three minutes.
After 10 speakers, the time will automatically set at 90 seconds to align with pre-existing council rules.
Public comments will also be allowed for the first 10 speakers, up to three minutes each, who sign up for non-agenda items.
