S.F Mayor Dined at the Same French Restaurant a Day After Newsom's infamous Dinner

San Francisco Mayor London Breed, a top candidate to succeed Kamla Harris in the US Senate, faces criticism for attending a dinner at the same luxury Napa restaurant that Newsom did, a day after the Governor's now-infamous mid-pandemic dinner, per the SF Chronicle.
Driving the news: Mayor Breed's snafu supper occurred on the night of Nov 7. at the same Michelin star Napa restaurant French Laundry to celebrate the 60'th birthday of socialite Gorretti Lo Lui.
Eight people, including the mayor, dined together at a small birthday party in the same type of room as Newsom did, SF Chronicle wrote.
At the time of dinner, Napa County was in the orange tier. Thus indoor dining was allowed with no limit on the number of households.
But, but, but:
Still, Mayor Breed's dinner at an affluent restaurant during a global pandemic that has killed thousands and closed restaurants statewide is another example of top California politicians not practicing what they preach.
Three days after eating at the French Laundry, Breed forbade indoor dining in San Francisco due to a Covid-19 surge.
Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl voted to ban outdoor dining at restaurants last week but hours later was dining outside at a restaurant in Santa Monica, per Fox 11
San Jose Mayor Sam Liccardo has apologized after attending a Thanksgiving meal in violation of state COVID-19 rules, limiting the number of people and households at private gatherings, per KPIX 5.
