Six people injured after a hit-&-run at a Halloween party in Long Beach
Six people were injured after a car plowed through a Halloween party in Long Beach Sunday morning, police say.
According to police, the event originated after a "domestic violence incident" between the driver of a blue sedan and a woman at a Halloween party on the 1300 block of Orange Avenue early Sunday morning, according to the LA Times.
At about 2:45 a.m., the driver drove on the sidewalk striking into at least six people, including a 16-year-old boy, before fleeing the scene, per the LBP.
The suspect, Richard Dalton Irigoyen, a 27-year-old Long Beach resident, was arrested in Compton later Sunday night.
Irigoyen was charged with six counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of felony domestic violence, and six counts of attempted murder.
