Southwest expanding routes from LB Airport to Nashville
Southwest Airlines announced Friday they are offering nonstop flights from Long Beach Airport to Nashville starting in November.
The airline will offer seven flights each week, according to a statement from the City of Long Beach.
Details: Southwest says in their statement that flights "will depart around 9 a.m. and then make an approximately 45-minute stop at BNA to drop off passengers visiting Nashville and the surrounding area, and then will continue on to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Virginia."
What they're saying:
Airport Director Cynthia Guidry, “We welcome this exciting new addition to Southwest’s nonstop destinations from Long Beach Airport. Beyond Nashville, this new service adds flexibility and options for travelers to connect to the East Coast and Southwest’s broader network.”
Long Beach Mayor Robert Garcia, “As passenger traffic at Long Beach Airport continues to climb back toward pre-pandemic numbers, it’s great to see Southwest connecting more travelers and destinations to our award-winning airport.”
