SpaceX to use Port of Long Beach to recover rockets

SpaceX has agreed to use a marine facility in the Port of Long Beach for rocket recovery operations on the West Coast.
What's happening:
On Monday, the LB Board of Harbor Commissioners approved a new sublease agreement with Elon Musk's SpaceX.
According to the Port of Long Beach, the aerospace company will take up about 6.5 acres on Pier T beginning May 1.
The Hawthorne-based company would dock its vessels and offload equipment at the site's existing wharf.
Sea Launch vacated the harbor in February 2020.
