Suspects Arrested in Connected to P.C.H Shooting
LBPD announced the arrest of two suspects in connection to the June 9th shooting in the Zafira neighborhood of Long Beach, which left one man dead.
Investigators located the suspects at a Los Angeles hotel on the 4500 block of Slauson Ave. Their detectives apprehended 29-year-old Jeramy Lee Odell and 34-year-old Shalisha Laquita White, police say.
LBPD detectives believe Odell and the victim got into a heated argument that intensified into gunfire, which results in the death of the victim.
Investigators think White is an "active participant in the shooting" and assisted Odell in escaping to Los Angeles.
Odell has been charged with murder and is being held on a $2,000,000 bail at the Long Beach City Jail.
White was charged for murder and accessory after the fact; she is being held on $2,000,000 bail in the Long Beach City Jail.
On June 9th, LBPD officers were sent at 3:40 am, to the 2500 block of East P.C.H due to reports of gunfire. When officers arrived they found "an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso". The LBFD attempted life-saving measures to revive the victim unfortunately victim died at the scene.
