What We Know So Far About the Dual Weekend Shootings.

Here's What We Know So Far:
Police are investigating two shootings that happened over the weekend, the two murder scenes are a a mile in a half away from each other.
Details of the July 20th Shooting:
On Saturday, July 20th just about 11pm, L.B.P.D arrived at the 1100 block of East 10th Street in Eastside Long Beach, after gunshots where reported in the area. Police discovered a women with a gun shot wound in her chest. The victim was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but later died due to her wounds.
According to a LBPD, detectives think the perpetrates were firing a gun nearby and a stray bullet struck the victim.
The victim has been identified as Long Beach resident Genoveva Rivera Robles, she was a 59-year-old and the suspect is unknown at this time.
Details of the July 21st Shooting:
According to LBPD, on Sunday, July 21st, at 2:00 am police arrived at the 1200 block of Molino Avenue in Eastside Long Beach, to support LBFD and found a dead male victim with a gunshot wound to his upper body and later died at a nearby hospital.
Detectives think the victim had some-sort of argument with another person or persons, which ended in the death of the unidentified victim.
The motive of the shooting in unknown at this time, but investigators do think the killing is gang-related.
